SHELTERWORKS
SHELTERWORKS
We are a local nonprofit run by a small group of caring individuals who want our less fortunate neighbors to have a place to sleep out of the cold and rain and snow. There are many in Shelton and Mason County who simply have nowhere to sleep to escape the cold wet winter. Thanks in a large part to Mason Matters, SHELTERWORKS has opened the low barrier shelter in downtown Shelton. We welcome all adults who are in need of a place to sleep out of the weather. With the shelter open, there are also opportunities for homeless individuals to take advantage of in-house case management, showers and a daily meal.
There is so much more that we could say, but to put it simply-
We can use your help in providing shelter, a warm bed, showers, personal care items and offering hope to those who need it the most.
Please donate any amount that you are comfortable with. We certainly appreciate your generosity and the fact that you care enough to give.
We need financial help to keep the shelter going. We have a paid staff to run the shelter from 8pm to 8am every day of the week. Some of our staff are actually without a home themselves. We are doing are best to make things work and your help is very much appreciated!
On behalf of ShelterWorks and Shelton’s homeless population, I thank you for your help!
